Corporate innovative strategy can have an incredible impact on the dynamics of a library’s culture and operations. Learn how to foster a workplace culture that embraces innovative thinking in response to the complex changes affecting libraries today. During this highly interactive session, you’ll have the opportunity to apply the preconference lessons to your library and take away a roadmap to creating an innovative culture.

Target Audience: This program is geared to library administrators and upper level managers who will have the ability to influence the culture of the entire organization.

At the end of this preconference participants will:

  • Be able to assess innovative readiness at their library;
  • Have the tools to create and sustain an innovative culture; and
  • Be able to use techniques to overcome barriers to innovation.

Cost: $195 PLA/ILF Members, $250 ALA Members, $305 Nonmembers Once accepted, PLA will confirm registration. Fees to be paid after acceptance to program.
